When Can I Consign?
Appointments are required.

Consignment appointments are available Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Consigning Clothing
Clothing Must Be:

Clean and freshly laundered or dry cleaned

Free of stains, tears, odors, pet hair, and smoke smells
-
Wrinkle-free
-
Current styles (generally within the last 3 years)

Brought in on hangers
Important:
We do not review clothing brought in bags or bins. Items must be presented on hangers for consideration.

How Pricing Works
We price items based on:

Our goal is to achieve the best possible selling price for you.
Your Earnings
Consignor receives
50%
Carefree Consignment
50%
Payments are available once your account reaches $25.
Consignment Period
Standard consignment term: 90 days
Unsold items may remain longer at store discretion.
Unsold items:

May be picked up after expiration

Must be collected within 10 days of notification

Unclaimed items become property of Carefree Consignment and may be donated
Furniture Consignment
Furniture is accepted by appointment only and must be pre-approved by photos.
Requirements:

Clean and damage-free

Approved before delivery
-
90-day consignment term

May be included in store sales

Items nearing expiration may be reduced 30–50%
If furniture does not sell:

Owners are responsible for pickup
-
Pickup must occur within 10 days of notification

Unclaimed items may be donated
Store Policies
Purchased Furniture Pickup

5 free days for pickup

$10/day storage fee afterward

Items left over 3 weeks are considered abandoned
Expired Furniture Pickup

$25/week storage fee after the 10-day grace period

Fees must be paid before removal
Why Some Items Aren’t Accepted
Our buyers evaluate whether an item is likely to sell in our market, not simply whether it is attractive or high quality. Seasonal demand, current inventory levels, and local customer preferences all influence our decisions.
Account Credit
Credits remain available for 1 year.
Accounts with no activity for one year may be closed and remaining credit forfeited.
